In this week’s packed episode, Jared and Brit discuss the similarities that Superman and Wonder Woman share with the space cop Hal Jordan Green Lantern and the embodiment of love Carol Ferris Star Sapphire. Green Lantern is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. They fight evil with the aid of rings that grant them a variety of extraordinary powers, all of which come from imagination, fearlessness, and the electromagnetic spectrum of emotional willpower. Caroline “Carol” Ferris is a fictional character appearing in the DC Comics Universe. She is one of many characters who has used the name Star Sapphire, and the long-time love interest of Hal Jordan, the Silver Age Green Lantern.
