In this interview, I sit down with Amaris Coleman, the founder of Paragon Comics, to talk about the origins of the company, her journey as a writer and creator, and her vision for building an inclusive space where anyone can tell their stories. Founded in 2024, Paragon Comics is focused on creating new characters, worlds, and stories for readers to discover. We’ll discuss Amaris’ creative journey, the creation of characters like Uniman, what inspired her to start Paragon Comics, the challenges of launching an independent comic company, and what the future holds for Paragon Comics.
