This week, Jared and Brit discuss the impact that Zack Snyder and the New 52 publishing initiative had on modernizing the character of Superman. They discuss Superman’s early movies, what they did well, and why a modernization like Man Of Steel was necessary to save the character from irrelevancy. They conclude by evaluating the comic book status of Superman Post Crisis and why this status quo needed to be shook up with the New 52.

What do you think? Did Snyder and the New 52 revitalize Superman? Did they do more damage? What would you have done differently? Like, comment, and subscribe for more SuperWonderful content that continues to strive for representation in media!
