They discuss David Zaslav’s desire to return Superman to relevancy, compete with Marvel with the creation of DC Studios, and that Zaslav wants DC to be more independent of Warner Bros. so that the creatives can create compelling stories that would allow it to more effectively stand with Marvel and even surpass it. This means that DC will finally be getting the leadership it deserves, thus allowing for a more consistent, synergistic content vision across its various arms (e.g., comics, movies, merchandise, etc.)
