This week, Jared and Brit finally reveal the truth behind the Rebirth initiative, aka the even that proceeded to put DC on a path to mediocrity that it has suffered since 2016 when they used Rebirth to wholesale replace the popular New 52 initiative. To do this, Jared and Brit use analyses by DC then president Dan Didio and current president Jim Lee, in their own words to validate the apparent regret that these two titans of industry have!
According to the internet, Rebirth was the godsend that saved DC comics from collapse, where in reality, it tanked the company and alienated a significant portion of the new fanbase, and Didio and Lee reveal as much.
What do you think? Is Didio right about Rebirth? Were you a fan of New 52? Could DC have preserved the New 52 instead of wholesale destroy it?
